Report a Storm Chaser or Unlicensed Roofer
The Castle Rock Roofing Contractors Association works closely with local authorities to protect our residents from predatory out-of-town roofing salespeople—often called “storm chasers” or “door knockers”.
These individuals frequently appear after hail storms and attempt to pressure homeowners into unnecessary or overpriced repairs. Many do not carry proper licensing, lack insurance, or disappear before the work is completed—if it’s done at all.
If someone knocks on your door in a neighborhood registered with the Town of Castle Rock’s “Do Not Solicit” list, it is not only an annoyance—it may be a code violation. Help us keep our neighborhoods safe and scam-free by submitting this form.
